Depart early morning from Quito traveling southwest through rural Andean farming valleys.

Make a cultural stop in Tigua discovering colorful local paintings depicting mountain life, followed by a visit to a traditional guinea pig (cuy) farm.

Arrive at Quilotoa and take in the awe-inspiring turquoise waters from the rim viewpoint.

Optional hike down into the crater to touch the mineral-rich waters. Enjoy an included lunch before the return drive to Quito in the afternoon.
